New Anniversary Grandfather Clocks by Howard Miller for 2019

The Howard Miller Grandfather Clock Company introduced it’s new 2019 Anniversary Grandfather Clocks. Each year Anniversary Grandfather Clocks are added to create unique offerings often with additional features or a new and different design as a special edition for 2019. This year they introduced a few exclusive grandfather clocks that will be labeled as “Anniversary Editions”.

The Howard Miller Arendal has always been one of Howard Miller’s best selling clocks because if its smooth and curved design. They wanted to create a new grandfather clock that is similar but did not take up as much room at a lower price point.

This new grandfather clock offers the style of the original Dutch Mora clocks built hundreds of years ago in Sweden. This special 93rd Anniversary Floor Clock includes an Anniversary Edition inscription on the dial. The aged dial with worn black Roman numerals and minute track and charcoal hands features a special “Anniversary Edition” inscription. A convex glass crystal is hinged on the top for easy access to wind the clock once a week.

The crown on this clock is removable, offering two distinctive looks. Cherry Bordeaux finish on select hardwoods and veneers is lightly distressed. Hinged, top door provides easy access for winding of the clock movement. The dial and case are illuminated, with an easy to reach roller switch on the back. The tapered base features a decorative cutout.

The German-made cable-driven, Westminster chime movement plays 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes.  Full chime and strikes on the hour. Automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. Designed and Assembled in the USA.
Ths clock can fit anywhere with a footprint of only 23″ wide with a depth of 13 1/2″, yet has a “fit anywhere” height of  82.75″.

This floor clock is available in a traditional Cherry finish and three other updated “wire brushed”, distressed finishes to complement any decor.
